BAKTRIA, Local Issues. Circa 285/3-280/78 BC. Drachm (Silver, 13 mm, 3.00 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the Oxus region. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. Eagle with closed wings standing right, head turned back to left; above, grape on vine and kerykeion (?). Bopearachchi, Sopythes -. HGC 12, -. SNG ANS -. Harshly cleaned and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
