BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides II, circa 145-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.78 g, 12 h), Baktra. Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔ[ΟΥ] Apollo standing front, head to left, holding arrow in his right hand and bow set on ground in his left; to left, monogram. Bopearachchi 3B. HGC 12, 162. Some marks and with a graffito of H on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
