INDO-SKYTHIANS. Maues, circa 125-85 BC. AE (Bronze, 25 mm, 9.19 g, 12 h), uncertain mint in Paropamisadai or western Gandhara. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ / ΜΑΥΟΥ Artemis, nimbate and radiate, standing front, hodling fold of her drapery in her left hand. Rev. 'Rajadirajasa mahatasa Moasa' (of the Great King of Kings Maues' in Karoshti) Zebu walking left; to left, monogram. Senior 13.2. HGC 12, 532. Rare. Numerous cleaning scratches and somewhat corroded, otherwise, about very fine.
