M. Aburius M.f. Geminus, 132 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.83 g, 3 h), Rome. GEM Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; below chin, star (mark of value). Rev. M•ABVRI / ROMA Sol driving galloping quadriga to right, holding whip in his right hand and reins in his left. Babelon (Aburia) 6. Crawford 250/1. RBW 1027. Sydenham 487. Beautifully toned and perfectly centered, a very attractive piece. Flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
