MZDYSN BGY KDY PYLWCY ('Worshipper of Lord Mazda, 'God' King Peroz' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Peroz I to right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent; in outer margin, two Sogdian countermarks, possibly in Pahlawi, and a Hunnic(?) countermark in the shape of a rhomb. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper field to left, five-pointed star; in upper field to right, crescent; in field to right, LYW (name of the mint in Pahlawi). SNS III, pl. 91, 154. Very rare with Sogdian countermarks. Light scratches, otherwise, fine.
