PHRYGIA. Acmoneia. Gordian III, 238-244. Diassarion (Bronze, 25 mm, 5.77 g, 6 h). ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ Laureate and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right. Rev. ΑΚΜΟΝЄΩΝ Hermes standing front, head to left, holding purse in his right hand and kerykeion in his left; at his feet, ram to left, looking back. BMC 93. RPC VII.1 688. SNG von Aulock 3379. Slightly rough and with two metal faults on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
