PHRYGIA. Siblia. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Diassarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.94 g, 6 h), Menodotos and Aliane. Time of Caracalla, 211-217. ΔHMOC Laureate head of the Demos to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. ΠAPA MHNOΔOTOY KAI AIΛIANC / CЄIBΛI-ANΩN Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left. BMC 2 = Martin, Siblia 1 = von Aulock, Phrygien I, 867 (same dies). Leu 7 (2020), 1468 (same dies). Extremely rare, apparently the third known example. Somewhat corroded and rough, otherwise, very fine.
