CARIA. Orthosia. Pseudo-autonomous issue. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 4.67 g, 1 h), time of the Flavians (?), 69-96 AD. CYNKΛHTOC Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Senate to right. Rev. Ο[Ρ]-Θ[ΩϹΙE-ⲰΝ] The Dioskouroi, nude, standing facing between two horses, each holding chlamys and spear. Roma E-Auction 60 (2019), 300 (same dies). RPC online -, cf. 1213 (same obverse die, but differing reverse type). Extremely rare, apparently the second known example. Somewhat corroded and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about very fine.
