CILICIA. Tarsus. Hadrian, 117-138. Tridrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 9.86 g, 12 h). ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΘΕ ΤΡA ΠΑΡ ΥΙ ΘΕ ΝΕΡ ΥΙ ΤΡΑI ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹEB Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. TΑΡϹΕΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩϹ City-goddess, turreted and veiled, seated left, holding palm in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at feet to left, river-god Kydnos, crowned with wreath of sedge, swimming left. Prieur 760. RPC III 3261. Fresh and attractive. Some graffiti, otherwise, about extremely fine.
