Diva Faustina Senior, died 140/1. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 22.60 g, 12 h), Rome. DIVA AVGVSTA FAVSTINA Diademed and draped bust of Diva Faustina to right. Rev. PIETAS AVG Pietas, veiled, standing front, head to left, dropping incense onto altar with her right hand and holding box in her left. BMC 1446. Cohen 240. RIC 1146A. An attractive example with a beautiful light green patina. Minor breaks in patina, otherwise, very fine.
