M•VOLTEI•M•F Ceres, veiled and holding two torches, standing in chariot right drawn by coiling serpents; in field to left, butterfly. Babelon (Volteia) 3. Crawford 385/3. RBW 1416 var. (differing control mark). Sydenham 776. Very rare with this lovely reverse symbol. Minor flan crack and with light corrosion, otherwise, about very fine.
