Johannes, primikerios, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 21 mm, 5.36 g, 12 h). Θ / IⲰ / O - Π/PO/ΔP|Ⲱ, Half-length bust of Saint John the Baptist, nimbate, holding long cross in his right hand. Rev. +IⲰ / ΠPIMI/KHPH/Ⲱ in four lines. Unpublished in the standard references. A well-preserved seal with a wonderful image of Saint John the Baptist. Minor weakness on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
