Kyriakos Bigles, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 25 mm, 10.63 g, 12 h). Θ / ΘЄ/O-Δ/ⲰP/O, Facing bust of Saint Theodore, nimbate, holding spear over his right shoulder and resting shield on his left arm. Rev. +KV/PAKOC / O RHΓ/ΛHC in four lines. Unpublished in the standard references. An interesting seal attesting an extremely rare family name. Minor surface roughness, otherwise, very fine.
