UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Aurum Barbarorum. Late 3rd-early 4th centuries. Aureus (Subaeratus, 19 mm, 4.00 g, 8 h), 'plated Group', imitating Marcus Aurelius (161-180). OIMXƧƧO - IIXOƧX Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. IOƧW - ƧX[...] Aequitas standing front, head to left, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. Pierced and with some breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
