ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. Temp. Hisham ibn 'Abd al-Malik, AH 105-125 / AD 724-743. Dirham (Silver, 26 mm, 2.90 g, 7 h), Dimashq, AH 117 = AD 735. SICA II, 680. A rare date for Dimashq. A well struck and very attractive example. Minor edge chipping, otherwise, extremely fine.
