Fals (Bronze, 21 mm, 2.64 g), citing the governor Zuhayr ibn Abi 'Alqama, al-Mawsil, without date, struck circa AH 127 = AD 745. In the inner field of obverse, 'la Hawl wa la Quwwa illa Billah' ('There is neither power nor Ability except through Allah' in Kufic). Rev. In the inner field, Kalima; In the outer margin, 'Bism Allah, Amr al-Amir Zuhayr ibn Abi 'Alqama, bi al-Mawsil' ('in the name of Allah, order of the Commander Zuhayr ibn Abi 'Alqama' in Kufic).
