Draped and crowned Sasanian style bust; around, 'Muhammad Rasul Allah' ('Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah' in Kufic); below bust, countermark with legend in Kufic. Album B335. Very rare. Patina stripped and somewhat rough, otherwise, fine.

This interesting type places the legend 'Rasul Allah' ('The Prophet of Allah' in Kufic) in front of the Sasanian styled bust, right where the Sasanians placed the name of their King.
