ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. temp. Al-Mansur, AH 136-158 / AD 754-775. Fals (Bronze, 22 mm, 2.35 g), citing the heir apparent al-Mahdi as the son of the Caliph al-Mansur, Tabaristan, AH 145 = AD 762/3. Album 337. Apparently unpublished save for its previous auction appearance. Patina stripped and with minor corrosion spots, otherwise, very fine.
