Drachm (Silver, 35 mm, 3.54 g, 9 h), Eastern Sistan series, citing the governor Halil, SK (Sijistan), circa AH 153-162 = AD 770s. Crowned and draped Sasanian-style bust to right; behind head, AFZUT GDH ('may his kingship increase' in Pahlawi); before head, Khosrau in blundered Pahlawi; in outer margin, 'Khalid', 'bism Allah' ('In the name of Allah') and 'Rabbi' ('my Lord'); all in Kufic. Rev. Fire altar with ribbons flanked by two attendants; to left, blundered date; to right, blundered mint. Album 86D. Malek, Arab-Sasanian, 1123. Zeno-201011 (this coin). Very rare. Holed and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
