ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Uncertain period, circa AH 200-400 = circa AD 800-1000. Amulet (Lead, 25 mm, 5.18 g, 6 h). Legend in Kufic in four lines within circle and pelleted outer margin. Rev. Legend in Kufic in four lines within circle and pelleted outer margin. A very interesting amulet. Traces of mounting, otherwise, very fine.
