MN•ACILIVS - III•VIR•VALETV Valetudo standing front, head to left, holding serpent in her right hand and leaning left elbow on column. Babelon (Acilia) 8. Crawford 442/1a. RBW 1556. Sydenham 922. Nicely toned. Light scratches and flan faults, otherwise, nearly very fine.


From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, privately acquired from William M. Rosenblum at the New York International Numismatic Convention in 2002 (with collector's and original dealer's tickets).
