Monogram of Davit in center consisting of the letters D and T in ligature; around, 'King Davit, servant of the Khan, the ruler of the world' (in Persian). Rev. 'The city of Tiflis, may God prosper it!' and date (in Arabic). Bennett 242. Very rare. Traces of overstriking and with minor deposits, otherwise, good fine.
This interesting example was overstruck on an issue of his mother, Quen Rusudan, with considerable parts of the undertype still visible.
