The Prince of the Novgorod Republic seated to right, crowned, holding scepter in his right hand and raising his left toward St. Sophia, seated to left, raising her right hand toward the Prince; between their heads, A. Rev. Veliky Novgorod ('Great Novgorod' in Russian) in four lines within pelleted circle. Spassky fig. 66, 2. Somewhat rough, otherwise, about very fine.
