RUSSIA, Novgorodskaya Feodal'naya Respublika (Novgorod Republic). State coinage, 12th-15th centuries. Denga (Silver, 13 mm, 0.81 g), without date, struck circa 1420-1456. Crowned Prince seated to right, holding sword in his right hand and receiving homage from his subject kneeling toward him. Rev. Legend in Cyrillic in three lines. Huletski 3004. Zeno-230981. Sharply struck and attractive. Extremely fine.
