Follis (Bronze, 26 mm, 5.44 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 931-944. + RⲰmAҺ bASILЄVS RⲰm' Facing bust of Romanus I, bearded, wearing crown ornamented with cross and jewelled chlamys, holding labarum scepter topped by trefoil ornament in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Rev. + RⲰmA/Һ' ЄҺ ΘЄⲰ bA/SILЄVS RⲰ/mAIⲰҺ in four lines. DOC 25a. SB 1760. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
