Rev. COҺSTAҺT' CЄ ROmAҺ' AЧGG b R (blundered) Crowned facing busts of Constantine VII, bearded and wearing loros on the left, and Romanus II, beardless and wearing chlamys on the right, holding, with their right hands, a long patriarchal cross between them. DOC - (cf. 15.22 of Constantine VII). Füeg 3.A.2. SB -. Very rare. Very slightly clipped and with a few tiny scratches, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the Nea Rhomē Collection, formed in the early 2000s.

Füeg argues that this issue with blundered legends was struck early during the sole rule of Romanus II using recut dies of his father, Constantine VII.
