ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Kos. Circa 285-258 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 15.13 g, 12 h), Kleinos, magistrate. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. KΩION - ΚΛEINOΣ Crab; below, bow in bowcase; all within pelleted square. HGC 6, 1308. Requier - (D8/R33, unlisted die combination). SNG von Aulock 2753. An attractively toned piece of bold Hellenistic style. Very light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
