Claudius. AD 41-54. Fourrée Denarius (18mm, 2.57 g, 9h). Imitating a Rome mint issue struck in AD 46-47. Laureate head right / Constantia seated left on curule chair, feet on footstool, raising right hand. Cf. RIC I 32; cf. von Kaenel Type 25; cf. RSC 8. Deeply toned, breaks in plating reveal copper core. Near VF.
