Blown glass skyphos. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. (18 cm from tip to tip; 10 cm bowl). A Roman skyphos with two wide handles. The piece is footed and turns into a wide, deep cup that opens slightly. The handles are on level with the lip, yet extend down to at least halfway down the cup, in an H-like pattern. A dark patina is present on the cup, air bubbles present in glass itself.
