Apulian blackware amphoriskos. Greece, Magna Graecia, Apulia, circa 4th century BC. (11.5 cm). A small amphoriskos with bulbous tapered body, simple rimmed foot and wide flayed lip with a flourish. Two handles extend from the top of the pottery to the body. Simple decoration of scratched vine work and flower clumps surround the neck and high point of the body elegantly. Good patina present.
