Lot of seven (7) antiquities, primarily seals and intaglios. Primarily Romano-Byzantine, 2nd millenium BC-11th centuries AD. includes:

WESTERN SEMITIC. Bronze scaraboid stamp seal. Circa 2nd millenium BC. (14 mm x 17 mm). A simple scaraboid. Pierced for suspension. On the face, design is present, though worn significantly, making interpretation difficult. Green-brown surfaces, some roughness, earthen deposits. Near Fine.



ROMAN. Bronze clapsed left hand. 2nd-3rd centuries AD. (17 mm, 4.81 g). From a larger votive statue. Green patina, earthen deposits.

BYZANTINE. Bronze stamp seal. 9th-11th centuries AD. (20 mm, 12.29 g). Flower-shaped stamp seal with elongated neck and piercing at top for suspension. Inscription in two lines across face, floral design repeated three times below. Dark brown patina, earthen encrustation. Intact.



BYZANTINE. Silver round intaglio. 5th-7th centuries. (13.5 mm). +KЄ/ BOH Θ/ XPICT/OΦOP[Y] in four lines across face / Blank. Lightly toned, scratches across face, deposits. Otherwise, Near VF.



BYZANTINE. Bronze inset oval intaglio. 5th-7th centuries AD. (11 mm x 15 mm). Theotokos (Virgin Mary), nimbate, standing facing, holding Holy Infant (Christ); ΘЄOTOCЄ BOЄ+ around / Blank. Brown patina, some shallow scratches and earthen deposits. Intact.



BYZANTINE. Bronze oval intaglio. 5th-7th centuries AD. (11 mm x 14 mm). Crude image of the Virgin Mary standing left / Blank. Green-brown patina, earthen deposits. Intact.



BYZANTINE. Bronze oval intaglio. 5th-7th centuries AD. (18 mm x 15 mm). Greek inscription in four lines across face; all within linear border / Blank. Dark brown patina, earthen deposits. Intact.
