Ecuador Ecuatorian Provisional Bond or Land Warrant for 100 Pounds 1855
After the partition of Gran Colombia into Venezuela, Ecuador and New Granada (later to change its name back to Colombia), Ecuador had to finance its portion of the combined debt by this issuance. The bond was expected to be repaid from debts due by the Peruvian government and by being used to buy government land in Ecuador. Arms of Ecuador in the border, and the reverse is entirely a map of Ecuador. Early date fro Ecuador; VF
