BRITISH COINS. Anglo-Saxon, Early Period (c.600-775), Primary Sceattas (c.680-c.710), Sceat, series A, crowned radiate bust right with linked annulets behind, pellets in exergue, rev standard bearing TOT II within beaded rectangle, cross below, emblems surrounding, 1.21g (Metcalf 90; N 40; S 775). Toned, very fine with a clear portrait, a scarce variety.
