Anglo-Saxon, Early Period, Secondary Sceattas, Sceat, series J, two diademed heads face-to-face, cross with forked terminal at centre, within beaded border, rev four birds facing right surrounding central cross, 1.08g (BMC 37; N 135; S 802A). Old cabinet tone, reverse a touch off-centre, otherwise good very fine with pleasing portraits.
