[Α]V Κ Μ ΑVΡΗ ΚOΜOΔOϹ, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right / ЄΠΙ ϹΤΡΑ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙOV ΑΡΤЄΜΩΝ ΚΑΜΗΝΩΝ, to left, cult statue of Artemis of Ephesos standing facing, wearing calathus and having supports; to right, Dionysos standing facing, head to left, holding cantharus and long thyrsus. Good Very Fine. Extremely Rare; seemingly the first example to be offered at auction in twenty years.

This obverse die was also used to strike the coins of Thyatira (RPC IV.2 2867-8 & 1548) and Apollonis (RPC IV.2 8320 & 11791).
