CIVITAS CANTOR, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, no stops, 1.40g, 4h, no m.m. (North 1852; Spink 2378), slightly waterworn with resultant porosity, peripheries largely obliterated through weak striking, the portrait otherwise handsomely bold, about very fine thus.
