Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third Coinage, Halfgroat, 1544-1547, Canterbury, crowned bust 1 three-quarters facing right, rev. CIVITAS CANTOR, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, no stops, 0.84g, 7h, no m.m. (North 1852; Spink 2378), a tiny pierce hole at 12 o'clock above head and of overtly baser fabric, otherwise residually lustrous, about very fine with a rather imposing portrait.
