NGC MS64 | Charles II (1660-1685), Threepence, 1679, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned intertwined Cs, plain edge, 7h (ESC 1971; Bull 660; Spink 3386), some faint adjustment marks to reverse and below bust and a flaw through hair, otherwise lightly toned across original lustrous surfaces, a trace of die wear to highest relief otherwise a handsomely bold portrait of the 'Restoration' King, extremely fine, in NGC holder, strongly graded MS64 (Cert. #4428275-016).
