NGC MS63 | Charles II (1660-1685), Twopence, 1683, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned interwined Cs, plain edge, 6h (ESC 2188; Bull 701 [R3]; Spink 3388), clashed dies with portrait ghosting into reverse field, otherwise a touch of wear to highest relief, lightly toned with wisps of lustre, almost extremely fine, in NGC holder, strongly graded MS63 (Cert. #4428275-013).
