An almost complete run of coin catalogues for the years 1947–49. Lacking only a small number from the listing Manville provides, the majority of which are Medals and Militaria sales but also including one catalogue not cited by Manville and another cited, but with no copies recorded. Includes a number of very seldom offered catalogues as well as important, named collections such as Oman, Crowther-Beynon, Sydenham, Mitchell, Southey, Owsten-Smith, Ducie, Cochran-Patrick, Brushfield and Mayr-Harting. A unique record of these post-war sales, annotated by one of the most respected numismatists of the period.
