LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (20mm, 7.89 g, 10h). Wreathed head of Demeter left; [XƎΔ below chin] / Barley ear with leaf to left; lit altar above leaf, YΛ to right of stem. Johnston Class C, 10.4 (same dies); HN Italy 1593; SNG ANS 503 (same dies). Toned, off center and some die wear on obverse, light scratches on reverse. EF.
