SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. Second satrapy and kingship, 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.32 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation of Babylon mint issue in the types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; [monogram] in wreath in left field, H below throne. For prototype: cf. SC 82.6; cf. Price 3704; cf. HGC 9, 10f. Toned, double struck, a little off center on reverse. Good VF.
