PHOENICIA, Tyre. Time of Domitian. AD 81-96. Æ (24mm, 9.82 g, 12h). Dated CY 220 (AD 94/5). Laureate head of Melqart-Hercules right, with lion's skin tied around neck / Club surmounted by monogram of Tyre; across lower field, KΣ (date) and "of Tyre" in Phoenician; all within oak wreath. Rouvier 2222; RPC II 2057; SNG Copenhagen –. Brown patina with light earthen deposits. VF. Very rare, only one known to RPC.
