ARABIA, Philippopolis. Philip II. AD 247-249. Æ (29.5mm, 17.18 g, 6h). Struck at Antioch. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Roma seated left on shield, holding two figures standing on eagle in outstretched right hand and spear in left. Spijkerman 7; Rosenberger –; RPC VIII Online 2375; Sofaer 9. Brown patina, light roughness. VF.

The two figures likely represent Philip's parents. His father, Julius Marinus, was deified by the emperor and his bust is featured on coinage of this series struck for Philippopolis at Antioch.
