Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (15.5mm, 3.37 g, 12h). Reverse brockage. Rome mint. Struck circa AD 197-200. Incuse and reverse of reverse / Mars standing left, foot on helmet or cuirass, holding branch and reversed spear. Cf. RIC IV 113 and 133A; cf. RSC 315-6. Lightly toned, some light porosity, a few minor deposits. VF. Rare reverse brockage.
