FLANDERN • 1917, British Lion with Union Jack tied to tail standing right, snarling and pushing againrt corrugated iron wall (the Hindenburg Line), while German soldier attempts to keep it from falling; barbed wire below / SIEGESPREIS (The price of victory), snail right on mile marker inscribed ?/KM in two lines and set in the middle of No Man's Land; K · G in exergue.
