GREEK. Levant & the Near East. Syro-Palestine, Ghassulian Culture, Large Pottery Beer Cup. 4th Millennium BCE. A simple buff clay cup with wide mouth, rounded body and narrow base, 5.25" / 13.5 cm tall by 4" / 10 cm wide at mouth. Amiran Plate 2, number 8. Intact, one minor crack, the surface unglazed and lightly worn.
