ANCIENT NEAR EAST. Levant & the Near East. Luristan Arrow or Javelin Head. Circa 1000 BC. (5.5" / 14 cm long). Long bilobe point with attachment spine. Khourasani, Arms and Armor From Iran (2006), 451 (similar). Green-brown patina with earthen encrustation; the spine broken, "Luristan (N.W. Persia) 1000 B.C." marked with white ink along one lobe.
