SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgird II (438-457 AD). Æ Pashiz (2.02 gm; 17 mm). Crowned bust of Yazdgird turning right, Pahlavi letters "ZH" (which might be stylistic lettering for "WH-Veh Ardashir") in front of face, reverse; fire altar with attendants, no mint or year. Nicely centered. Nice original find green and earthen patina. Struck on a broad medallic flan. Choice EF. Great example for this issue. Excellent strike for the type. Extremely rare.
