AVGVSTVS DIVI F, bare head right / IMP X either side of Apollo Citharoedus standing left with lyre, ACT in ex. RSC 144; BMC 461; RIC 171a. "The reverse of this coin honours Apollo Actius, who had an ancient temple on the promontory overlooking that famous battleground, and which temple Augustus enlarged as thanks to the deity for his victory". Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning.
